AI & Responsible Automation Policy
Holtworth Advisory LLC (“Holtworth,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) uses artificial intelligence and automation technologies thoughtfully to enhance our services while protecting client confidentiality, maintaining human oversight, and supporting responsible business decisions.
Our Approach to AI & Automation
Holtworth Advisory believes artificial intelligence and automation can improve efficiency, strengthen decision-making, and help organizations work more effectively. We may use AI-assisted technologies in connection with research, analysis, workflow development, document processing, communications, technology enablement, and other professional services.
AI and automation are tools that support our work. They do not replace professional judgment, client oversight, or appropriate human review.
Client Data & Confidentiality
Protecting client information is a priority. Holtworth does not knowingly use confidential client information for the purpose of training publicly available artificial intelligence models.
We evaluate the nature and sensitivity of information before using AI-enabled technologies and seek to use systems and configurations appropriate for the information being processed and the services being performed.
Sensitive & Regulated Information
Certain information may require additional safeguards, including protected health information, personally identifiable information, financial records, legal or privileged information, government records, employee information, and other confidential or regulated data.
Holtworth does not intentionally process sensitive or regulated client information through an AI system unless the system and intended use have been evaluated for the applicable engagement and are consistent with contractual, legal, regulatory, and security requirements.
Third-Party Technology Providers
Holtworth may use or recommend third-party software, cloud platforms, automation technologies, and AI-enabled services in connection with our work.
When third-party technologies are involved, data processing, retention, security, and other practices may also be governed by the applicable provider’s terms, privacy policies, agreements, and technical configurations. Where appropriate, Holtworth works with clients to evaluate these considerations before implementing solutions involving client information.
Human Oversight & Accuracy
AI-generated content, analysis, recommendations, classifications, summaries, and other outputs may contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies.
Holtworth treats AI-generated output as assistive. Material client recommendations and deliverables are subject to appropriate human review, and clients should exercise independent judgment before relying upon AI-generated information for significant business, legal, financial, employment, healthcare, or other consequential decisions.
Responsible Automation
Automation should improve a business process without compromising appropriate controls, accountability, security, or human judgment.
Holtworth approaches automation from a business-first perspective. We evaluate the underlying process, business objective, information requirements, risks, and appropriate controls before recommending technology or automation as a solution.
Client Choice & Transparency
Holtworth is committed to reasonable transparency regarding the use of AI and automation in our services.
Clients may discuss specific data-handling requirements, technology restrictions, security considerations, or AI-related concerns with Holtworth as part of an engagement.
When a client’s contractual or regulatory requirements restrict the use of particular technologies, those requirements should be identified and addressed as part of the applicable engagement.
Changes to This Policy
Holtworth may update this AI & Responsible Automation Policy as technologies, our services, and applicable requirements evolve. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
